About

Why hello! We've been expecting you...

We're  KRYSTAL KRUNCH, a.k.a. Asher Hartman and Haruko Tanaka, a duo of artist intuitives who see and respond to energy in the body, the psyche, architectural spaces, and artworks. We are dedicated to using intuitive reading to help people come in contact with their highest and best potential, discovering who they really are so that they might approach their lives and others with compassion, love, and wonder.

Krystal Krunch debuted in 2007 with TnT Explosive Advice!: The 10 Minute Takeover at High Energy Constructs in Chinatown where we gave 10 minute intuitive readings to gallery visitors. We have since developed and presented numerous intuition building workshops including Dreaming the Invisible Body Politic at The Hammer Museum, Lovereflections at Machine Project and Seeing Beyond Speech with students at Pomona College, Loyola Marymount University, California Institute of the Arts, and SPACES in Cleveland, Ohio.

Since 2012 Krystal Krunch has also been taking their workshops on the road in several tours including the Never Been To Me Tour at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Krystal Krunch is also wrapping up their Mind Reading for the Left and Right Brain tour, a collaboration with Mark Allen, founder of Machine Project and intermedia expert Sara Roberts which began at the Miller Gallery at Carnegie Mellon University and then went on to Southern Exposure in San Francisco, the Hayward Gallery in London, Real Art Ways in Hartford Connecticut, and the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum in Lafayette, Louisiana. The tour concludes at The Parsons School of Design in New York in 2014.

Krystal Krunch is based in Los Angeles, California.
