We're sorry it's been a while, but rest assured, Krystal Krunch is still taking care of business. As you see above Krystal Krunch recently went to Happy Feet to get some good ground floor care. Asher has been busy working on his play The Florida Room and traveling to Miami and getting ready for its L.A. production in June. Haruko has been in and out of nyungne retreat and trying not to sound too out of it while teaching! In April we did get to do spirit drawings and readings for Machine Project's night of Spirits and Spirits!! We had such a great time and hope to do this again some time soon. Oh and if experimental sound is your thing, please be sure to check out SASSAS' 10 year anniversary benefit blast! on May 19. There will be a Krystal Krunch private reading auctioned off for those interested!

Psychic intuition abounds in the insurance capitol of the U.S. of A!!

We just got back from a trip to Hartford where we, along with cheese monger/friendly wine tzar/you still gotta know your tonal basics music man Chris Kallmyer, gave our Mind Reading for the left and right brain workshop at Real Art Ways. Asher and I also got to watch a few Oscar nomintated shorts in the Real Art Ways art house movie theater and fell in love with the film The Buzkashi Boys. You will see Kabul in a whole new painterly light. 

Thank you to Real Art Ways for the wonderful turnout and to everyone who participated in the workshops! There was so much good will and generosity. And thank you also for the wonderful view of the state capital building from our windows!!

The mothership smells the same

Back on the mothership. The twinkle of the Bijou yonder...

Just last week we got to help kick off Machine Project's Performance Tactics Class in the Theater School back on the mothership, CalArts. We were also joined by the awesome Carmina Escobar (vocalist, sound and intermedia artist) who along with Mark Allen (our Godfather) and 24 theater students, embarked on a discovery of our innate intuitive voices. The baton was then passed onto Carmina who will return to lead the students in an inner voice discovery workshop the following week. For the duration of the entire semester, a different artist will participate in a class led by the preceding artist, and return the following week to lead the Performance Tactics Class themselves. How cool is that?!!!

Oh and just fyi to all the CalArtian cats out there, CalArts still smells the same.

We each got a super cute Guatemalan doll from Guan who had recently returned from a solo trip to Central America.

Thank you to Guan and John for a super fun time on their radio show noooooooooooooo!  on KCHUNG radio. We also got to visit (about 10 steps from the radio station) each of their studios and to see their amazing artwork. What a treat! What a night!

Just as London gears up for the 2012 Paralympics (starting Aug 29!) KK is back in Los Angeles putting together all our photos for a travel slideshow which will be posted online very soon. We can't wait to share our stories and revelations!!

Thank you again to everyone who supported our KK GOES U.K.! endeavor. We met a lot of wonderful folks, forged new relationships, and hope to be back very soon!!!

Ah language..we love it! This was the sign posted right at the entrance of the almighty Westminster Abbey that we visited yesterday.  We were utterly baffled and blown away by the architecture of the Abbey and the Houses of Parliament..with symbols of mysticism and magic  everywhere on the buildings, arches, bridges... it seems so very obvious how an Empire could have been born... Also we took our first (of hopefully a few) visits to the London College of Psychics founded in a house gifted by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle...woohoo!

We're happy to say that both day 1 and day 2 of our intuitive workshops (and humor, phew...) translated across the pond and some wonderful, genuine connections have been made by all!
